Where are my baby’s records stored?
On your device, and in your iCloud account using CloudKit. iCloud can sync them across your Apple devices. They are not sent to a server operated by the developer.
Can Chickabiddy read my care record?
No. Chickabiddy does not receive the feeds, sleep, diapers, notes, photos, or other records you keep. There is no Chickabiddy account. Your Apple ID and iCloud are how the record is stored and shared.
Who can see a shared record?
Only people you invite. You can give view-only access. A shared record can show who logged each moment. Invited people use their own Apple IDs. Until you invite someone, the record stays private.
Do you track me, show ads, or use analytics?
The app does not track you, does not show ads, and does not include third-party analytics. This website is the same: no ads, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics. If you choose Light or Dark appearance here, that choice stays in local storage in your browser. Choosing System removes it.
What is Chickabiddy Plus?
Chickabiddy Plus is an auto-renewable subscription in the app. It includes a 2-week free trial. Apple shows the price and the billing period on the purchase screen before you confirm. Apple charges your Apple ID. Chickabiddy does not receive your payment card details.
The license for the app is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The terms of use repeat the subscription details and link to that license.
How do the free trial and renewal work?
The trial lasts two weeks. The subscription renews on its own unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. Apple charges the Apple ID within 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you subscribe before the free trial ends, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Select Chickabiddy Plus and cancel. Apple manages the subscription and any App Store refund. Chickabiddy cannot see your card and cannot cancel the Apple ID charge for you.
How do I remove records?
Chickabiddy has no server copy to erase. Removing the app from a device removes that device’s copy. Records that have synced stay in your iCloud account until you delete them from iCloud. People you invited can see a shared record until you stop sharing or remove their access.
Is Chickabiddy medical advice?
No. Chickabiddy is a personal log for caregivers. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace advice from a clinician.
Which devices are supported?
Chickabiddy is for iPhone. The website shows Apple Watch, iPhone Duo and iPad as coming soon. Those are not available yet, and they are not a separate place where records are collected.
